The notion of “serendipity” which covers the art of finding something that one was not initially looking for is the common thread of this book. “What is distinctive in Prune’s work is that she advances very strong representations: she plays with myths, staged through very direct images, which challenge and jostle. Yet what she builds goes beyond that. It gives rise to other representations than those it offers in the first place.
