Globally acclaimed architectural designer John Pawson, whose work includes the new Design Museum in London, is always taking photographs. He is constantly looking for patterns, details, and textures that can inform his work. His architecture might be known for its limited colour palette – primarily white – but his photographs tell another story, one of endless colour. Spectrum takes you on a multi-coloured journey across the world through a carefully curated sequence of 320 images. Whites lead into yellows, oranges, reds, purples, blues, greens, browns, greys, black… It’s a celebration of colour from one of the most unexpected sources. Spectrum will amaze those who think they know John Pawson.
