The work of her friend Piet Mondrian was an important source of inspiration for Marlow Moss, which she absorbed artistically and developed further. Because of her Jewish heritage and the destruction of the Second World War, parts of her oeuvre were lost; nevertheless, her work and life are now comprehensively recounted and reinterpreted by contemporary artists.
