Membership – subject to the agreement of
the 7L committee – consists of a
personal admission fee and a subscription
for the member plus a guest, for the season
running from September to June.

The Correspondances

| Committed to the love of books as objects and to supporting contemporary creation, Correspondances is made up of some twenty cultural events per season. In the form of invitations from contemporary artists and authors, the programme offers a series of |
original events created in situ, drawn from the six artistic disciplines represented in the Karl Lagerfeld library collection: photography, dance, music, reading, theatre and visual arts. |

The Reading Room
With monthly encounters in the library-studio,
experience the spirit of contemporary conversations
with public figures.
These persons welcome the Friends of 7L in the
Reading Room, celebrating the art de vivre
according to Karl Lagerfeld. They will share books
from their core library: personal books,
selected books from Karl Lagerfeld’s library
and new releases from the bookshop.
Œuvre Sonore
| The Third Eye is an immersive sound work thought for the Friends of 7L as a living library of voices and texts. It can be listened to intimately on headphones.
