Following the novel La Chambre des écureuils and the essays Journal d’un peintre and Lettres
provençales, the publishers Seghers and Éditions 7L continue to republish the literary work of Marie Laure de Noailles, one of the most important patrons of the 20th century and an emblematic figure in arts and literature.
The third book in this series is devoted to her poetry and brings together three collections: L’An quarante (1943), La viole d’amour (1944) and Cires perdues (1953).
This new work, entitled Poésies, features a preface by Chantal Thomas, member of the Académie Française.
